George,

We dont have anything for the RT at this time, however we are just introducing our Passenger floorboards for Harlies and Victories so It is just a matter of time until we have the adaptors for the RT.

I'm looking for a better and softer rear passenger floorboards. The stock one's are to hard on my wife's feet, she says it's the vibrations that get to her.
Do you make anything or do you know of anyone who does?

These are the brackets you need:<a href="http://www.kewlmetalstore.com/product_info.php?cPath=5_40&products_id=436" rel="nofollow">brackets</a>

The nicest foot rest is the Kewlmetal Mini Floor Boards: <a href="http://www.kewlmetalstore.com/product_info.php?cPath=5_40&products_id=472" rel="nofollow">Mini Floor Boards</a>

Could you advise the complete list (part numbers) for the brackets, foot step and etc. required to add these foot steps to my 2010 Spyder RT. I will then contact your web site for pricing and delivery information. Love your site!

Leo,

We have sold hundreds of sets of Highway brackets and the bolts do fit through the slots ??? If you ever have any issues you need to call us 623-298-7181 is the shop where they can ship you any missing bolts (a rare occurrence but it does happen). My number is 623-298-7835 and I can give you any tech support on Spyder product installs.

I must completely dis-agree with you on the instructions. All of our Spyder product instructions are absolutely step by step with plenty of pictures. They are some of the best instructions in the industry and 99% of our customers agree. They are all published on our website for all the world to see BEFORE you buy the product.

There is a reason the notch is not machined into the mirror extensions and that is because the notch only works in 1 position of adjustment and as the product designer I simply did not agree with Can-Am on that design. If You are having difficulty tightening them down you are not torquing the bolt enough OR you can put an 8mm star washer under the head of the 8mm bolt. If you call me I will help you. My mirror extensions are so tight you can literally pull the Spyder down the road by the mirrors and they don't budge!!

On the mini floor boards, I am not sure as to which bolt you are referring? If you need a specific bolt powder coated black, I will take care of that for you seeing you have bought so many Kewlmetal products and we do appreciate your business.

Bought Can-Am Spyder Adjustable Risers (KD-251) $299.95 haven't installed these yet but if they are like the two things I have installed
1.Can-Am Spyder Highway Footpeg Mounting Brackets (KD-245) $149.95 no bolts to attach sloted riser bar to brackets. One picture shows bolt that is not included. there are two allen bolts that are threaded for one end of the riser bar but they are to big to go through the slot in the brackets. $150 for two metal brackets and they can't provide the two bolts. B.S.

Can-Am Spyder Mirror Extensions (KD-219) $79.95 Extensions do not align with spyder arm brackets. notches that should be in extensions are not there so arm will move back and forth. you adjust the mirrors themselfs and not the arm.

Mini Floorboard, Black, Spider Web (KD-255-B-SW) $249.95
Have to find black power coated bolt before I can install these.

$678.61 so far and I am not impressed at all with Kewl Metal.
there instructions are pictures with no close ups. for me the instructions leave a lot to desire.

Brenda,

Please use the webstore contact link to ask the warehouse about the status of your order. They do not monitor the blogs.
<a href="http://www.kewlmetalstore.com/contact_us.php" rel="nofollow">Contact</a>

I do know they have been shipping these brackets and we are getting caught up on the backorders, but I don't want to speak for them on a specific order.

Waiting on a set of Hwy Foot Brackets for RT. Had Invoice # 6274 and returned the RS Brackets since my customer traded for an RT. Was told about 2 weeks. Any status?

Thanks!
